Have you done several 5K and 10K races and are ready to taking your running to the next level? If so, our Half-Marathon training program is a great next step in your progression as a runner, and a fun new challenge. The scheduling of this program coordinates well with the Brooklyn Half Marathon or any mid-May thru early June half marathon.
The twice weekly workouts for this class meet in Prospect Park and are geared toward those fit individuals who would like to complete their first half-marathon, or those experienced with this distance who would like to set a PR. Because this program is 10 weeks, we require that participants should be able to comfortably run 5 miles at an 11:00 minute per mile pace or under by the first class. We will work with you to hone your existing running and fitness skills with emphasis on pace and increased endurance. Ample time is given to event preparation so that you have a successful and positive race day.

Days of Week: Thursdays at 7PM and Saturdays at 8:30AM
Where/When: The class will meet at the Grand Army Plaza entrance to Prospect Park every Thursday@7PM and Saturday@8:30AM from March 22nd through May 26th, 2018.
