NEW GEAR FOR THE NEW YEAR
NEW YEAR, RUNNING SHOES GALORE
When it comes to bringing in the New Year, there is something about it that just screams ‘New’ – or is that just me? Fortunately, in our JackRabbit world, most agree with us, especially those lovely folks who make the running shoes.
These running-shoe people seem to understand that in order to drag yourself out of bed, in the dark mornings of January, we *need* a reason to do so.
I don’t know about you, but a new pair of running shoes, is enough for me to turn off the alarm, actually get out of bed and out into the cold mornings of winter running. Okay, it might not just be the shoes, but probably also the receipt of an ‘encouraging’ text from a running partner calling me to ‘GET OUT HERE NOW!!!!’
The first month of the year could almost be described as ‘Christmas in January’ for any running enthusiast. There’s a cornucopia of new running shoes being released, and we have them at JackRabbit, ready to rock your running world.
Regardless of the weather or time of year, we like to quote the Paolo Nutini lyrics: ‘put some new shoes on, suddenly everything is right.‘
