Even though the weather outside is still frightful, spring will be here before long and NOW is the time to make a plan for a fun and feel-good summer! Have you done several 5K and 10K races and are ready to taking your running to the next level? If so, our Half-Marathon training program is a great next step in your progression as a runner, and a fun new challenge. The scheduling of this program coordinates well with any Winter or early Fall event.
The twice weekly workouts for this class meet in Central Park and are geared toward those fit individuals who would like to complete their first half-marathon as well as those experienced with this distance who would like to set a PR. Because this program is 10 weeks, we require that participants MUST be able to comfortably run 5 miles by the first class. We will work with you to hone your existing running and fitness skills with emphasis on pace and increased endurance. In addition to our twice weekly group workouts is an online component which is provided weekly with what's happening in class as well as your suggested in-between class homework. Ample time is given to event preparation so that you have a successful and positive race day.

Where/When: This 10-week program will meet at our Time Warner Center location Wednesdays@6:45pm and Saturdays@8:30am starting Wednesday, March 21st and finishing Saturday, May 26th
