FIRST LOOK: HOKA ONE ONE STINSON ATR 5
RELEASE DATE: JANUARY 2019
Everyone knows that Hoka One One is known as the king of cushion in their full line of both trail and road running shoes. The Hoka One One Stinson ATR 5 continues that trend by providing maximal support where you want it most – the midsole – when you're running on the trails.
Runners who prefer the wider fit of the Stinson ATR rave that this makes the it a top choice
for day-long trail runs, minimal hot spot issues and blisters. In celebration of another year with the ATR on the ground, the Stonson ATR 5 will be released this January ready for you to celebrate the new year of running.
The Hoka One One Stinson has been known to be on the heavier side with the extra cushioning, but on the other hand, has a really high mileage lifetime of well over 500 miles. The tough lugs make it great for hard training runs
through roots and hopping over rocks, while it simultaneously provides a soft ride for recovery runs. This is your workhorse shoe – the trail training shoe to build your base miles that will pay dividends later.
wider fit of the Stinson ATR 5 also means your toes get to spread and react naturally to whatever the terrain may be.
FEATURES: THE HOKA STINSON ATR 5
Hoka One One Stinson ATR 5: What's new?
The Stinson ATR 5 has been completely redesigned from tongue to toebox, keeping in line with its favorable reputation of being one of the most versatile shoes on the market.
The sole has been redesigned with 4mm studs and split sole in different areas for a more controlled feel in the forefoot while jaunting over dicey terrain and more closely toward the heel for an easy road to trail transition.
The new layout of the Stinson 5 has the added bonus of saving a bit of overall weight. For the upper part of the shoes you can expect an improved mesh fit for increased durability and protection.
Hoka One One Stinson ATR 5: What remains the same?
Cushion always comes first, always when it comes to the Hoka brand. The Stinson ATR 5 will continue to have the oversized CMEVA midsole for a comfortable run anytime.
The Stinson ATR 5 will continue to give a nice balance
of cushion and lightweight running for all your terrain adventures.
